Корабль уплывает вдаль, качаясь на волнах.
Февраль накинул шаль, что в странников вселяет страх.
Но ей не жаль и нет упрёка в молодых глазах,
Был сделан выбор и он тихо хныкал в свёртке на руках.
Она пристально смотрела вслед окаменев,
И неистово летел снег, и пока никем была изгнана сюда.
Никак ползти наверх.
Не понимала - вьюга остатки света разгоняла.
Такой утёс едва покинешь ты без слёз.
Тропинка всё струилась сквозь камни, то в бок, то под откос.
Она вставала, падала, ревела не шутя,
Оберегала курткой прикрывая бледное дитя.
Позади глухой мощный рокот в море,
Впереди холодное голое плоскогорье.
Куда идти?
Ночь молчалива, как могила,
И придвинув девочку к груди, засеменила к ложбинам.
Чернота испещрённая белыми точками,
Железный холод поглощал остатки одиночества.
Заледенили ноздри, тускло блестели звёзды,
Яростный ветер бросал гроздьями снег в воздух.
Ног не слышно, руки живы локтя выше,
Но ей важно слышать то, что в тёплом свёртке ещё кто-то дышит.
Тут не до излишеств — не уют нужен, затишек.
Старый дуб склонившись в непогоду подарил им нишу.
Конец близится, он неминуем, сколько не отсрочь.
Снимает куртку без раздумий, чтобы свёрток обволочь,
И к ней жмётся голая: Тебе так теплее, дочь?
И окутал полностью снег и ночь, снег и ночь…
Будильник зазвенел, сперва вполсилы, затем надрывно,
И гудки его порывами струились.
Её тошнило, тело сотрясала дрожь, С отвращением схватила телефон, словно это нож.
