И я один в слепящем круге света
Моё лицо слепит белее снега
Я зло, зеро, но я творю добро!
Герой и автор, Гамлет, шут и Лир
Бросаю тень и свет на ваши лица
Чтоб веселиться или прослезиться
Смотрю со сцены зеркала на мир
Я ловкий шут, дурю вас и смешу
Пугаю, соблазняю вас обманом
Раз я дурак — мне всё по барабану
Поплачьте и посмейтесь — я спляшу!
Я грех и смех, и знаю я успех
Бегу по грани хохота и плача
Я сделаю вам больно, как иначе?
Театр — место жертв, а не утех!
Я зол и мил, неукротим мой пыл
Злодейство, ложь, тоска и страстный шёпот
В мелодию я брошу боли щёпоть
Чтобы спектакль за душу зацепил!
Я клоун грёз, я мастер ловких поз
Я пародирую, перевирая
В экскурсию от ада и до рая
Веду, играя — верьте мне всерьёз
Моё лицо на самом деле — грим
Я нарисую маску человека
Вне сцены я никто, прохожий, некто
Пятно в толпе, невзрачный пилигрим
А кто я сам? Паяц, мудрец и лжец
Эссенция страстей и горя опыт
Я прожил много жизней, чтобы хлопать

I am Clown Evil, and I can sing
I was lucky to be crafted from flesh
I will take you to distant realms

I am Clown Stunt, I am a master of sleight of hand

My entire secret is written on the ticket
I am captivating in my dancing without pants!
I am Clown Evil, I am a dot and a dash
I will show you my tongue and make a face
I mock you, and yet
This is why you came to the cabaret!
I am Harlequin and yet I am Pierrot
And I am alone in a blinding circle of light
My face shines whiter than snow
I am evil, zero, but I create goodness!
Hero and author, Hamlet, jester, and Lear
I cast a shadow and light on your face
So that you can cheer or shed a tear
I look at the world from the stage mirror
I am a funny jester, I fool you and make you laugh
I frighten and entice you with my deceit
Since I am a fool — everything is a joke to me
Cry and laugh — I will dance!
I am sin and laughter, and I know success
I walk the fine line of laughter and tears
I will hurt you, how else can it be?
Theatre is a place of sacrifice, not pleasure!
I am angry and kind, my ardor cannot be tamed
Villainy, lies, anguish and passionate whispers
I will throw a pinch of pain into the melody
So that the show can tug at your heartstrings!
I am the clown of dreams, I am the master of graceful poses
I parody, I distort
I lead you on a tour from hell to heaven
Playing — believe me in all seriousness
My face is in fact — makeup
I will paint on a human mask
Off-stage I am nothing, a passerby, a nobody
A speck in the crowd, an inconspicuous pilgrim
But who am I myself? A clown, a sage, and a liar
The essence of passions and the experience of sorrow
I have lived many lives, so that when the time comes
You might applaud, and so, the end!
