И день пройдёт, настанет день.
И год заменит год.
Дорога Ворона тебя
Однажды призовёт.
И ты оставишь свой порог
Забудешь всё, что знал.
И в путь отправишься далёк,
Чтоб отыскать Кристалл.
Дорога Ворона лежит
Вдали от всех путей.
По ней не ходит тот, кто жив
Для мира и людей.
Над ней не властна кривизна
Поверхности земной.
Дорога Ворона ясна —
На Север! По прямой!
Туда, где Вечная гора
Касается небес,
Где фиолетова трава
И непонятен лес.
И дальше, дальше путь ведёт
К Последнему Мосту
Кто до конца его пройдёт —
Обрящет Пустоту.
И в той Великой Пустоте
Увидит он Кристалл,
Что преломляет Божий Свет
Как мириад зеркал.
И разноцветные лучи
Слагаются в миры.
И нет на свете ничего
Помимо той игры!
...Заворожён игрой лучей
Ты станешь наблюдать,
А Свет — Великий и Ничей
Забудешь вспоминать...
Пусть снова день меняет день
И год меняет год —
Дыханье Голубя в тебя
Однажды снизойдёт.
И ты восстанешь, превзойдя,
И вспомнишь всё, что знал
И засмеёшься, как дитя
И разобьёшь Кристалл.

The Raven's Road

And the day will pass, a new day will come.
And one year will replace another.
The Raven's Road will
One day call upon you.
And you will leave your doorstep
Forget all that you knew.
And embark on a journey far,
To seek the Crystal true.
The Raven's Road lies
Far from all other ways.
Those who are alive for the world and its days
Do not walk its maze.
The curvature of the earthly plane
Holds no power over it.
The Raven's Road is clear —
To the North! Straight ahead, don't fear!
There, where the Eternal Mountain
Touches the heavens high,
Where the grass is violet
And the forest is a mystery to the eye.
And further, further the path leads
To the Last Bridge's stand
Whoever walks it to the end —
Will find the Void at hand.
And in that Great Void
They will behold the Crystal bright,
That refracts God's Light
Like a myriad mirrors in flight.
And the multicolored rays
Form worlds in their dance.
And there is nothing else in existence
But this cosmic expanse!
...Mesmerized by the play of light
You will become an observer,
And the Light — Great and Naught
You will forget to remember...
Let day replace day once more
And year replace year in turn —
The Dove's breath upon you will pour
One day, a truth to discern.
And you will rise, surpassing all,
And remember all that you knew
And laugh like a child, standing tall
And shatter the Crystal, it's true.
