צליל מוכר קולטות אוזני,

לאן הם נעלמו, פעמוני הכסף?
כשהיתה כאן מדורה,
עלה עשן, עלתה שירה,
ובאחת אחר חצות,
זוכר, גילינו את החושך.

הכרמל ניצב איתן,
ירוק צבעו של התלתן,
מימיך לעולם זורמים (זורמים) בנחת.
גם היום כמו אתמול
ימינה כביש ועץ משמאל,
ורק עיניים אחרות
אני רואה בתוך המים.
