עברנו את אותם דברים,

רקמנו אלף סיפורים,
ערמנו אלף מזמורים.
גילינו את האהבה,
ידענו מן האכזבה.
ידענו 'רע' ו'טוב-יותר',
ותמיד המשכנו לזמר.

כך היינו בשכונה...

יש אומרים, כבר התבגרנו -
הכל הפך להיות ישן.
דבר מאז לא לקחנו,
חוץ משיר ישן נושן.
אחד מנכ"ל - שני לוחם,
שלישי בכפר סוסה רותם.
אחד היה למהגר,
ואני ממשיך פה לזמר.

כך היום זה בשכונה,
השכונה כבר נתרוקנה.
לא שדרה ולא גינה,
נותרה רק מנגינה.
אזכור תמיד בכל פינה,
את צלילה של השכונה.
