والعبودي حياهم من اتعناها
اصكور الكنانه للمراجل عنوان
نار اللهيبي و ماطفت لو مر ضيف
الغراوي زودك شفته هم دله وسيف
الكبيسي ليلك صافي والعاني الطيف
والسلطاني عزب روحه الجيت الخوان
والوائلي يامرحب يالعزاوي
فخر المراجل لو حجه النمراوي
كالو امنين وكلت انه اعلياوي
السراي خير امشرع ابلا بيبان
والشويلي والغزي ابراس الترتيب
حياني والفهداوي واحدهم ذيب
الكرطاني والكرغولي هم اصل الطيب
الحمداني صيت وهيبه وهمه اهل الشان
زود الخزاعل و الزوامل عالي
كل العشاير ساكنه ابدلالي
والوطن غالي كل بشر بي غالي
والخوه هيبه مانلفي الخوان
العامري الكرعاوي والفتلاوي
الربيعي المكصوصي والعيثاوي
سيف اعلى راس اللي يضدهم ناوي
يحسبها مايحسبها هو الخسران
الجميلي والفلاحي والرماحي
والجحيشي لبالي قبل اصياحي
الزبيدي وكت الشده للشر ماحي
والبدري اسمك هيبه و كلك عرفان
هذا الجنابي امعلم اعلى الزينات
والحلبوسي ماينسى وصاحب وكفات
بني اسد معروفه ابوكت الشدات
ومن اعنزه ناخذها و اكبر برهان
السوداني لهلك عمي كل هذا الصيت
من بني لام انهوس لحد تكريت
ومن بني ارجاب المالكي ونوصل هيت
كل العشاير خيمه وعينك ميزان

Alashayer (Tribes)

We are the tribes, the salt of the earth, my love.
My brother, the Pasha, Abu Muhammad, protector of lions.
The Sayyids are the crown, the tribute, our prestige like sails.
Our forearms are our strength, and the battlefield speaks.
Hail to the courageous, when the wind blows, my dear.
The giants of chivalry rush to the aid of brotherhood, they cry out.
Al-Jabawi stands tall, and all the men fall in line.
And Al-Mashhadani stands behind you, a whole diwan (council).
Shammar, Anaimi, and Mutairi, a closed curtain.
And Ad-Dulaim with their rifles, and Khafaja with gunpowder.
Ad-Darraji and Al-Bayati, a sea of generosity.
Al-Miyahi and Al-Isawi, like a solid structure.
Al-Badrani attacks, and Al-Salami finds them.
Al-Obeidi dances with joy, and gives it his all.
And Al-Aboudi, greetings to them from our efforts.
The scorpions of Kinanah, the address of courage.
The fire of Al-Liheibi, it never goes out, even if a guest passes by.
Al-Gharawi, I have seen your generosity, both food and sword.
Al-Kubaissi, your night is clear, and Al-Aani, the phantom.
And Al-Sultani, noble of soul, I brought the guests.
And Al-Waili, welcome, O Al-Zawawi.
The pride of courage, if Al-Nimrawi speaks.
