أكرهها وأشتهي وصلها
وإنني أحب كرهي لها
أحب هذا اللؤم في عينها
وزروها أنت زورت قولها
عينٌ . كعين الذئب محتالة
طافت أكاذيب الهوى حولها
قد سكن الجنون أحداقها
وأطفأت ثورتها عقلها
أشك في شكي إذا أقبلت
باكية . شارحة ذلها
فإن ترفقت بها أستكبرت
وجررت ضاحكة ذيلها
أن عانقتني كسرت أضلعي
وأفرغت على فمي غلّها
يحبها حقدي ويا طالما
وددت إذ طوقتها . قتلها

I hate her and I crave her touch
Yet I love to hate her so
I love the wickedness in her eyes
And the falseness of her promises
Her eyes, like a wolf's, are full of deceit
Lies of love swirl around her
Madness has taken hold of her gaze
And extinguished the light of reason in her mind
I doubt my own doubts when she approaches
Weeping and explaining her helplessness
If I show her compassion, she grows arrogant
And struts away, laughing mockingly
If I embrace her, she breaks my ribs
And pours her venom into my mouth
My hatred loves her, and often
When I encircle her in my arms, I wish to kill her
