บางระจันเก่งจริงจึงต้องยิงด้วยปืน

ปืนไทยแตกเหลือแต่ด้าม
เพราะเพิ่งหล่อเมื่อวานซืน
ก็กรุงศรีมิให้เขาหยิบยืมปืน

There's Chan, his mustache and fangs a legend
He rallied his people, demanding freedom
He summoned the abbot, Dharmachoti
Leaving the temple, he became the spirit of hope
Hoping to fight the Burmese, big and small
Who oppressed our hearts, robbed us, and killed our women and children
