Orchid Grass

我從山中來還帶著蘭花草

I came from the mountains And I brought with me the orchid grass

種在小園中空希望花開早

I planted it in the small garden And I hoped that it would bloom early

一日看三回看得花時過

I looked at it three times a day And I watched the time for the flowers to bloom pass by

蘭花卻依然含苞也無一個

But the orchid remained The same, not even a single bud

眼見秋天到好移蘭入暖房

I saw autumn arriving And I decided to move the orchid to the warm room

朝朝頻顧惜於夜夜不能忘

I often looked at it in the morning And I couldn't forget it at night

但願花開早好能將宿願償

I only wished that it would bloom early So that it could fulfill my long-cherished wish

滿庭花簇簇開得許多香

The whole courtyard is filled with flowers And they are very fragrant
