衣川原(ころもがわら)に もののふの
夏草や兵(つはもの)どもが夢の跡
判官主従(ほうがんしゅじゅう) 高館(たかだち)の
うたかたに 涙落とした

閑(しずか)さや岩にしみ入る蝉の声
悠久の 息吹たどりゆく

I am beckoned by the clouds that pass over the sky,
Unable to resist, I prepare to travel.
As the spring departs, birds sing and fish dart about, their eyes filled with tears.
The path ahead stretches for three thousand miles.
Words breathe life into the journey.

The remnants of past glory line the Oushu highway.
On the fields of Koromogawa,
Summer grasses now grow where the soldiers once dreamt.
The Lord Judge and his loyal retainers, upon Takadachi's heights,
Their aspirations dissipated like fleeting dreams, leaving only tears.
The road to Oku.
A profound stillness, the song of the cicadas seeps into the rocks.
In this timeless expanse, we follow the whispers of the past.
