One day when we were eight years old, we held hands and laughed together.
We used to fantasize about becoming a pair of birds on this hill.
You’re old and I’m old, but we still can’t fly.
It doesn’t matter if this hill is buried under concrete.
Skyscrapers can also disappear in the blink of an eye.
Let the memory only record beautiful scenery,
while it hasn’t collapsed.

Let all the pain be part of growing up.
If I can learn to stop hurting from the memory, it’s also good enough.
If the song I love is no longer played tomorrow.
I can listen to it many times in my mind, and it will still warm me.
I understand that I’ve experienced too much happiness and sadness, and I can’t control it.
