The nights I’ve huddled and cried,
My loneliness shapes me.

Because I’m clumsy and inept,
I hate myself for it,
But in these unchanging days,
I want to keep dreaming.

As the morning sun rises,
I chase after “someday.”
I can’t yet reach
The place I yearn for with my outstretched hand.
The timidity that dwells deep within my chest –
Lest it continue to erode my heart,
Now I will unravel it.

The expectations I hold only increase with each day,
They’re more than I can handle,
And they keep chasing after my heart.
The words, “I’m alright,” that I speak,
Are the reverse of how I feel.
I’m a weakling.

As time dwindles, my burdens only grow,
Like an hourglass turned upside down,
If I could only relive the time that’s passed,

I would surely choose this path again.

The feelings I verify by closing my eyelids,
Grow stronger and accelerate on the tailwind.
