北方風雪下 綠林白 樹搖動
寫詩的少年 期望紅 無奈窮
身邊的女孩 拿麥皮 來做餸
素餐也感動

他喜歡競逐 大時代 荳芽夢
他丟低女孩 前路濛 長路凍
那天風雪中紅起眼睛的歡送

衣香鬢影 十里歌聲
一開眼界 陶醉華麗豐盛
口袋太淺 要棲息旅館都不夠
只有去露宿觀星
連伴侶編織布衫都要典賣
深信終於有天令文字有聲

水仙開過後 用文字 做場夢
他幾經困難 城內人 才動容
詩中的女孩 曾為誰 捱病痛
得到歌頌

他穿街過巷 大人物 受傳頌
輕輕一句身價有千斤重
無奈句句伏線筆觸都有隱隱痛

憑伴侶編織布衫一再感動
想到當初與她沒棉衲過冬

北方的八月 木棉樹 沒搖動
歸家的少年 人越紅 情越濃
刻苦的女孩 垂下頭 從病痛
飄進黑洞

青春的故事 是殘酷 是沉重
天真想法不免有些激進
游盪到八月裡呼吸竟會這麼凍

浮華在大氣內相送

Repentance Poem

Under the snow and breeze of the north, the lush forest is stirring
A young poet is yearning for a brighter future, yet finds himself trapped in poverty
The woman beside him has no choice but to prepare their dinner from wheat husks
Even such a humble meal can bring him a sense of warmth

He dreams of making a name for himself in the turbulent times
He leaves behind the woman he loves, embarking on a lonely and arduous journey
On that snowy day, her tearful eyes bid him farewell

Amidst the glitz and glamour, the city's songs fill the air
His eyes are opened to a world of extravagance and luxury
His pockets are too shallow to afford even a night's lodging
He is forced to sleep under the stars
He pawns the sweater his beloved knitted for him
Believing that one day his words will finally be heard

After the daffodils have bloomed, he weaves a dream with his words
Through hardships, he finally gains recognition within the city walls
The woman in his poems, who endured illness for him
Is now celebrated in his songs

He walks the streets, hailed as a great figure
His words carry a weight that could crush a thousand souls
Yet, each line is laced with a hidden pain

He finds solace in the sweater his beloved knitted, time and time again
Recalling the winter they spent without a blanket to keep them warm

In the August heat of the north, the cotton trees remain still
The returning poet finds his love stronger than ever
The woman who suffered greatly, now frail and ill
Fades into darkness

The story of their youth is a cruel and heavy tale
The idealism of their early years now seems naive
In the August heat, the air is heavy with regret

The vanity of fame escorts us to our end
