女孩子们分别来自中央音乐学院、中国音乐学院、
中央民族大学和解放军艺术学院等著名的高等艺术院校，
师从中国著名的民乐大师，均有着极高的民族器乐演奏天赋与水准，
使用的主要有：古筝、扬琴、琵琶、二胡、
竹笛、箫、葫芦丝、独弦琴等中国传统民族乐器。
她们完美的将中国传统的民族器乐与时尚的现代音乐元素有机结合，
使其作品既保留了浓郁的中国民族音乐色彩又兼具时尚与流行的世界音乐风格，
从而创造性的创作出大量属于自己的、独特的音乐风格的作品，
更采用现代高科技的声、光、舞美等手段，
使之达到完美的视觉与听觉的双重效果，给人以双重享受。

The Women's Twelve Chinese Instrumentalists were founded in June 2001.
