Bad and worse

The truth is, reality is never quite like your dreams
There is no rainbow at the bottom of a valley
"Keep going" "Don't give up" Clichés that prove useless every day
That's not how simple it is

Even if you've failed a hundred times, you can't turn black into red
To become a mother, you have to give birth to "success"
Who is lucky enough to choose a perfect path back?
The usual options are "death" and "sickness"

No matter how bad, stay positive
If you knew the worst was yet to come, you might be able to do better
If you can be happy even when everything is bad,
That is the highest realm

Whether you quit or keep going, you'll end up alone
Either choice is cruel
Now I know that even if I tried my best, all I deserve is regret
