The river weeps for the lotus' fall, and the fallen flower regrets the sunshine
Where in the cosmos dwells the kappa
His abode is roofless, and the little golden flower refuses to bloom

Enchanted by Andersen, I cherish the Little Prince
In a beautiful and moving tale the world takes delight
I worship Miyazaki's poetry of the sky
I long to hear it in the next life

Who has kissed the kappa, whose form is veiled in mist
He yearns for a dream in the garden
Who has shown compassion to the kappa, I choose to believe still
Fortress and palace may spurn him
But I wish to embrace him
To prevent this world from freezing

If beauty is like Rei, who would choose Blackbeard
If heaven has no stairs
How can I believe that the white peony and the black crow are both God's creations
