部屋の明かりもつけずに
青白く光る水槽だけを
ただじっと見つめてる夜は
僕の領域に誰も来て欲しくない
ただぼんやり飽きるほど
流れてく君を見ていた

今日はいつもの僕を取り戻そうとあがいて
少しだけ意気込んでしまったよ

※今気づいた
最初は一番弱かった 青いテトラ
思いもかけず一番長く生き続けてる
そんなことで気持ちが嫌でも動くのは
きっとどこかで僕が望んでたことなんだと思うよ※

ガラスに映る自分が揺らいでいるのが
嫌になってコツンと指ではじいたら
行き場を失うように僕から逃げてく
悲しみを引き受けて欲しいとは思わないから

誰の背中も追わずに泳いでいるあのテトラ
どこまでも僕の先を行く

今気づいた
僕がいなきゃ生きられないよ 青いテトラ
狭い場所で何も出来ないのは僕の方
フィルターの音 目をつぶると海の中へ誘われてく
今 僕の前で生きてる 生きてる

Tetra in the Fish Tank

With the lights off in my room,
Only the pale blue light of the fish tank,
I sit still, watching,
I don't want anyone to come into my space,
I just gaze blankly, getting bored,
Watching you swim around.

Today I'm trying to get my old self back,

My wavering reflection in the glass,
Annoyed, I flick it away,
You dart away from me, lost,
I don't want you to take on my sadness.

That tetra, swimming without following anyone,
Always ahead of me.

I just realized,
You can't live without me, little blue tetra,
I'm the one trapped, unable to do anything.
The sound of the filter, it lulls me into the ocean,
Now I see you before me, alive, alive.
