Welcoming the Gods

In January, we worship the Heavenly Emperor, in February, we welcome the God of Wealth.
In March, we welcome Mazu, in April, it's Qingming Festival.

In May, we celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival, in June, we pay respect to Guan Yu.
The gods offer protection, and we, the people, have faith.

In July, we hold the Ghost Festival, in August, it's the Mid-Autumn Festival.
In September, we dance for the Prince, in October, we honor the Great Saint.

In November, we pray to Amitabha, in December, we bid farewell to the Kitchen God.
The gods offer protection, bringing us a good harvest and smooth weather.

We must be mindful of both the divine and the human, and touch our conscience.
We must work hard, strive, and rely on our fellow countrymen.
We must eat, drink, and benefit from our ancestors.
You, me, and everyone must be diligent.

Be diligent for the land, be diligent for the people.
The gods offer protection, protecting all of us.
