誰かが言い放った 謎の言葉
「汝の隣人を愛せよ」だって
自分だけ生き延びて 泣いてる夢見た

綺麗に見えた終着地点は
近くで見ると汚れてて
次の場所に歩き出すのも
めんどくさくなって ここにいる

どんな生き方も受け入れる世界だ
ずっと眠ってても 踊っててもいいかい?
遠くから声がする 東の方からだ
「危ないぞ」って 聞こえる

完璧な自分 あこがれて
目指した 筋書きどおり
わずかな狂い 生まれたほころび

住み慣れてきた終着地点は

I've listened to the pundits, but their words leave me in doubt
They offer no clear answers, their opinions all devout

But then I stumbled upon a phrase, a cryptic creed
"Love thy neighbor as thyself," it simply read
Yet the selfish part of me emerged in the night

I found myself lost in a place of gray
The destination I'd yearned for seemed to fade away
I could have kept walking, but the thought filled me with dread
So I stayed put, content to stay in bed

In this world, it seems, all choices are fair
Can I sleep forever, or must I dance without a care?
I hear a voice calling from afar, from the east
A warning, it seems, that danger lies ahead

I've always strived to be the best that I can be
And for a while, I thought I'd found my path
But then a tiny flaw emerged, like a stitch coming undone
And like a moth to a flame, I couldn't resist pulling at the thread
I couldn't stop myself, and now I'm filled with dread
What will happen once it's all come apart?

The destination I'd grown so accustomed to
Was suddenly threatened, my time was running out
A new horizon beckoned, shimmering like a mirage
Inviting me to leave my old life behind
