云寒雨冷 寂寥夜半景色凄清
荒山悄静 依稀隐约传来了夜半钟
钟声惊破梦更难成

是谁令我愁难罄 唉悲莫罄
情缘泡影
鸳鸯梦 三生约 何堪追认
旧爱一朝断 伤心哀我负爱抱恨决心逃情

禅院宵宵叹孤影
仿似杜语哀声泣血夜半鸣 隐居隔绝岭
菩提伴我苦敲经 凡尘世俗那堪复听
情似烟轻 禅心修佛性

梦幻已一朝醒
情根爱根 恨根怨根 春花怕赋咏
情丝爱丝 愁丝怨丝 秋月怕留情
情心 早化灰
禅心 经洁净

为爱为情恨似病 对花对月怀前程
徒追忆 花月证
情人负我 变心负约太不应
相思当初枉心倾 怨句妹你太薄幸

The chilly cloud and cold rain make a dreary midnight scene of solitude and desolation
In the quiet and deserted wilderness, the peal of a bell tolls faintly in the night
The sound of the bell shatters the dream, making it harder to come true

Who made me drown in endless sorrows? Alas, my grief is boundless
Love is an empty illusion
Mandarin ducks' dream, a three-life promise, how is it possible to pursue and believe?
Our past love was broken off abruptly; heartbroken, I, the guilty one, carry the regret and determination to escape love

In the temple at night, I lament my lonely figure
Like the mournful sound of the cuckoo bird weeping blood at midnight, I live in seclusion beyond the mountain pass
The Bodhi tree keeps me company as I laboriously chant sutras; how can I bear to hear of worldly affairs again?
Love is as light as smoke; I cultivate my Buddha-nature with a Zen heart

The dream has already awakened one day
The root of affection, the root of love, the root of hatred, the root of resentment; I fear to compose poems on spring flowers
The thread of affection, the thread of love, the thread of sorrow, the thread of resentment; I fear to linger in the autumn moon
My amorous heart has long turned to ashes
My Zen heart is pure through chanting sutras

For love, for affection, my hatred seems like an illness; facing the flowers and the moon, I cherish the future
In vain do I recall the past; flowers and moon bear witness
My lover betrayed me, her fickle heart breaking her promise so unfairly
My lovesickness was in vain from the beginning; I blame you, my heartless lover
The temple bell tolls in the dead of night, and I listen alone
