在這群妖亂舞的天下
斬妖除魔只為心中的菩薩
若問還有何事讓我牽掛
唯有高老莊的那個她
在這人心慌亂的天下
泡上一壺無關風月的茶
若問還有何事讓我掙扎
無所謂啦
佛祖問我還有何願望
我雙手合十什麼話都沒講
西天取經已這麼多年
妖怪的鮮血已染紅我雙眼
我多麼懷念很久以前那個還沒大徹大悟的自己
如今雖然可以上天入地
卻無法再去擁抱你
在這群妖亂舞的天下
斬妖除魔只為心中的菩薩

Yellow sand fills the sky above my head,
Tonight's moon feels especially lonely.
Monkey Bro says I've changed a lot lately,
My nine-tooth rake has gone missing.
Master's lectures are too much to bear,
Have you even read the Buddha's scriptures?
Before saving the world, Master, save me first,
You say laying down the butcher's knife brings enlightenment.
But is loving someone truly wrong?
Just like tonight, meditating devoutly before the Buddha,
There are emotions I cannot express.
Though filled with reluctance,
I am helpless against fate.
In this world of demons and chaos,
I slay evil for the Bodhisattva in my heart.
If you ask what still burdens my soul,
It's only her, the one from Gao Village.
In this world of troubled hearts,
I brew a pot of tea, unconnected to worldly affairs.
If you ask what still makes me struggle,
It doesn't matter anymore.
Buddha asks me what I still desire,
With palms together, I remain silent.
The journey to the West has lasted so many years,
The blood of demons stains my eyes red.
I yearn for the self I was long ago, before enlightenment,
Now, though I can ascend to the heavens and dive into the earth,
I can no longer hold you in my arms.
