从于无始，以至今生，
From
the
beginningless,
until
now,
in
this
life,
毁破三宝，作一阐提，
I
have
destroyed
the
Three
Jewels,
and
become
an闡提,
谤大乘经，断学般若，
Slandered
the
Mahayana
sutra,
and
abandoned
the
study
of
Prajna,
弑害父母，出佛身血，
Killed
my
parents,
and
shed
the
blood
of
the
Buddha,
污僧伽蓝，破他梵行，
Defiled
the
Sangha
and
their
monasteries,
and
ruined
their
conduct,
焚毁塔寺，盗用僧物，
Burned
and
destroyed
monasteries
and
temples,
and
stolen
monastic
property,
起诸邪见，拨无因果，
Developed
deviant
views,
and
denied
the
law
of
cause
and
effect,
狎近恶友，违背良师，
Consorted
with
evil
friends,
and
disobeyed
good
teachers,
自作教他，见闻随喜，
Made
and
taught
my
own
evil,
and
rejoiced
in
the
sight
and
sound
of
others'
evil,
如是等罪，无量无边。
Thus,
these
evil
deeds
are
boundless.
故于今日，生大惭愧，
Therefore,
today,
I
am
filled
with
great
shame
and
remorse,
克诚披露，求哀忏悔，
I
sincerely
reveal
and
humbly
repent,
惟愿三宝，慈悲摄受，
I
pray
that
the
Three
Jewels
will
show
compassion
and
accept
me,
放净光明，照触我身，
May
they
shine
their
pure
light
upon
me,
诸恶消灭，三障蠲除，
May
all
my
evil
vanish,
and
my
three
hindrances
be
eliminated,
复本心源，究竟清净。
May
I
restore
my
original
heart,
and
ultimately
attain
purity.
往昔所造诸恶业，
All
my
evil
karmas

皆由无始贪嗔痴，
Are
due
to
my
greed,
anger
and
delusion
since
the
beginningless,
从身语意之所生，
Originating
from
my
body,
speech
and
mind,
今对佛前求忏悔！
I

confess
before
the
Buddha!
往昔所造诸恶业，
All
my
evil
karmas
in

past,
皆由无始贪嗔痴，
Are
due
to
my
greed,
anger
and
delusion
since

beginningless,
从身语意之所生，
Originating
from
my
body,
speech
and
mind,
一切罪障皆忏悔！

repent
all

sins

obstacles!
往昔所造诸恶业，
All
my
evil
karmas

皆由无始贪嗔痴，
Are
due

my
greed,
anger
and
delusion
since

beginningless,
从身语意之所生，
Originating
from

一切罪根皆忏悔！

roots

my
sins!
