Lyrics Intro - Rare Americans
Do
you
ever
see
a
picture
from
years
ago
and
think
"Wow,
how'd
I
change
in
such
a
blink?"
I
feel
like
I've
been
three
totally
different
people
Living
in
the
same
body
The
first
person
was
an
athlete
Since
I
was
able
to
walk,
I
could
also
skate
In
elementary
school,
I
was
training
20
hours
a
week
to
be
a
professional
athlete
A
tennis
player
and
a
hockey
goalie,
specifically
And
I
got
pretty
damn
close
with
hockey
The
next
is
a
businessman,
the
life
I
was
born
into
To
be
honest,
probably
what
would
have
come
most
natural
My
family's
been
in
the
car
industry
since
my
dad's
dad
started
selling
cars
in
the
60s
In
Hamilton,
Ontario
I
know
how
a
car
dealership
runs,
top
to
bottom
It's
in
my
blood
Around
this
time
is
when
I
started
playing
music
Which
birthed
the
third
person:
an
artist
Probably
the
biggest
shocker
in
my
whole
life
was
learning
I
could
write
a
song
I
bought
a
guitar,
I
learned
one
cover
song
It
was
"Third
Engine"
by
Say
Anything
I
started
messin'
with
the
chords
And
like
a
ghost
took
over
my
body
I
wrote
my
first
song
in
15
minutes
I
knew
right
away
Of
my
three
lives,
this
one
grabbed
me
the
most
Like
they
say
happens
when
you
meet
the
love
of
your
life
You
just
know
