Bert & Ernie - Six paroles de chanson

paroles de chanson Six - Bert & Ernie

Hiya Bert!
Oh, hi Ernie.
Hey, I just got back from the grocery store, Bert. I bought us some soda pop.
Yeah, well, I wish you wouldn't bother me right now, Ernie, because I'm busy.
Really Bert? What are you doing?
Oh, I'm sitting here, thinking about my favorite number.
You're sitting there thinking about your favorite number?
That sounds a little boring, Bert.
Oh, not when your favorite number is as wonderful a number as mine is!
Really?
Uh-huh!
What is your favorite number, Bert?
I was hoping you'd ask!
Six
(Six?)
My favorite number is six
(Bert, nobody's favorite number is six!)
Sometimes I spend the whole afternoon sitting around
And singing a tune about six
(Six, hm?)
Sometimes I think of six bricks
(Bert, that's very boring)
Or else I think of six sticks
(Well, that's even more boring)
Not five bricks or sticks but six
Now, two is your eyes and one's your nose
And five is your fingers or your toes
And four is the legs on an easy chair
Yet there's no number can compare with
Six
(How about nine or three?)
Nothing more lovely than six
(I don't know Bert)
When someone says "hey, Bert, pick a number"
Well, I always pick the one nobody picks
My favorite number is six
(You know, I have to break this to you, Bert)
(But six isn't anyone's favorite number)
(It's my favorite number, Ernie)
(I mean, six just sort of sits there between five and seven)
(You know, you have five fingers on your hand)
(And there are seven days in a week)
(But there's not really six of anything)
(I know, Ernie, I know!)
Now, two is your eyes and one's your nose
And five is your fingers or your toes
And four is the legs on an easy chair
Yet there's no number can compare with
Six
(All right, Bert)
Nothing more lovely than six
(Have it your way)
When someone says "hey, Bert, pick a number"
Well, I always pick the one nobody picks
My favorite number is six
Yeah. Well, that's really nice, Bert.
Anyhow, I brought this soda pop back from the store, and I wondered if you wanted some.
Hey, wait a minute!
What?
Look at that! Bert, count the number of bottles of soda pop in that container.
Uh, let's see, there's uh... one, two, three, four, five, six!
Six bottles of soda pop!
Uh-huh!
A sixpack of soda pop, Ernie!
Hey, that is really neat! Something does come in sixes after all!
Hey, Ernie, wait, wait! Do you have a bottle opener?
Oh, sure, here. What are you doing, Bert?
Well, I'm opening up the soda pop.
That's one bottle, and two, and three bottles...
Now, wait a minute, Bert.
...and four...
Bert!
...and five...
But!
...and six! There!
Bert, you opened all six bottles of soda pop!
That's right, Ernie!
Boy, you sure must be thirsty!
Thirsty? Uh, no, no! I'm not thirsty at all, Ernie!
I just wanted the six bottle caps for my bottle cap collection!
Oh...
Thanks, Ern! See you later!
