paroles de chanson Diversity of Musical Tastes (Commentary) - Vince Gill

Yeah, kinda really, you know, I had never really played much bluegrass and
And I kinda stumbled into it, I'd been a guitar player my whole life and sang a little bit but
Was in rock bands and, you know, garage bands and
We were never very good, but we bashed around in the garage and
Played a few, you know, school dances and parties, and things like that and then
Then I stumbled into, to loving acoustic music
You know, and I didn't know much about it and
And so, it just was, um, I don't know what it was about it, you know
Th-that spoke to me, but it did, you know, and I listened and
And just kinda pointed that way for, for quite sometime
But I also had a, a pretty diverse palette of what I liked
And I knew even then that, that just playing bluegrass wasn't gonna
Scratch that itch quite enough for me, you know, I wanted to write songs, I wanted-
I liked playing loud music, I liked playing my electric guitar and
Blowing it up and, and play the blues and all those things, they're
They're just as equal a part of what's inside of me as, as any of it and
Same with country music, you know, I made a
A great career for myself and, and, uh, in country music but
Even through that, you know, what's
Uh, the most apparent is to look through
Uh, whatever kind of discography there is of
Everything I've done, and it's pretty diverse
You know, and I think that's what I, I feel the most proud of, that there's
You know, so many different places that I, I went to paint, you know
