Deborah Stokol - Squaring the Circle Songtexte

Songtexte Squaring the Circle - Deborah Stokol

I used to strive for a false perfection
Stuck in postures of genuflection
But out of my periphery
I saw the fear and misery
I tried to fly
On wings of fire
Oh my desire
To rise
But squaring the circle's not possible
And swimming on land is improbable
I learned that it's all right
To fall
Can't know it all
Or do it all
At the same time
And expect it to work
And I love a crooked and snaggle-toothed Smile
Now
And you can dare
Without wearing a hair
Shirt
But squaring the circle's not possible
But the space between is probable
And that is a fine place to be
For now
Take it from me
