The trees make for an ocean of green
A brief reprieve into red and gold as far as the eye can see
They shake off the chill and wait for the spring
I too spend my winters waiting, looking up
My breath fogging the sky
But the light from the stars above
Just as alive as we are
Just as alive as I am
And just as the trees flourish as the days get longer
I too will do the same
Only this time, my sights are set a little bit further

Indecisive, the wind is wild, in the thick of silence
I miss the times where my grin was wider than the valley
I was living life in
I feel enticed to feel like a child again
With the snow falling down slow
And the night was calm and quiet on us
And now look at where the time has brought us
My heart just might be stopping
But in either case let's fight the process
Like swinging at Hinkie, think he's
Going to trade for diddley squat
Consider cash in the pot
I'm alien like Ridley Scott
But the earth is tantalizing
Green and blue and I can't survive it
Take my hand if you dance with time and
Swing it around and pass it by with a smile
Haven't changed in a while
Haven't made it a mile in my own shoes
That's my fault for choosing a cold route
From nineteen-ninety-four that's old news
I'll have none of that, bone bruise
Triple trap that I go through
If you didn't ask, well I told you, this my moonshot
Take it back to the basics
Look all the space on the page when

Funny thing is I never said which moon I'm shooting for
Europa, Ganymede? Charon? No Lucifer
No Hades, no orbit too scary
Just holding it steady

Hoping to levy myself from the bottom rocky with it

You want the smoke but you will not come get it
Praying for my downfall, looking autumn with it
I need a shot of vision, a lot of ink and a thousand pages
Just to see if I've found the space enough to graffiti the space wall
Nebula spray paint
And my logo's displayed tall
Blink and you'll miss it
Recreation of life in the same way that I bless y'all
Make way for the harmony already inside
