Intro

The rapper's overstated
The poet's underrated
We use big words because we're complicated
You come in hungry and leave satiated
But in the rap game some of y'all are overrated
Platinum beats with lyrics... gold plated
Looking for some knowledge you leave emaciated
Searching for some depth, you leave devastated
Be more creative
Less often sedated
That means sleeping if you wonder what I'm saying
The girls you keep laying
The guns keep spraying
Taking no heed for minds that you're decaying
You just keep thinking
They're paying we're staying
Let's dig deeper
The climb's a little steeper
But leads to less kids visiting the grim reaper
Less cynicism
Less of us in prison
But you can't lead the blind if you also lack the vision

Don't get me wrong I love what rappers do
Flowing to beats like this is fun too
Just wanna see the trap rap game improve
So my eight year old daughter also can consume
When she's in the room
And let's just assume
She doesn't wanna be called a bitch in every tune
And like I said before
I love what rappers do
But if you are insulted then I'm talking about you
