Between "krapfen" and tall tales, the strange hours have flown by,

And the dawn is a punch in the face towards which I stretch my arms,

And I dance with Snoopy and Linus

If I were more of a cat, if I were a little more of a vagabond,
I would see in this sun, I would see within the dawn and the world,
But I have to get my suit dirty and wrinkle my waistcoat:
