Coming home from work, I started thinking
Wondering about this world we're living in
Getting something fresh, I started drinking
Drowning while I'm filling wine and gin
Money gets tight, ain't got no answers
Feeling like I can't go on no more
And I need a second job to fight inflation
Seems like everything I make goes out the door

Well, greed is what you got and that's corruption

People in the ghetto need for rain
Hoping for a better day to come
Want their kids to have an education
So that they can have a better life

And the air I spy kills as much the same
Whites are fighting blacks, the mind of a strain
And the government's the bank, the president's the head of the blame

What's this world coming to?
