That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind

As I awake I still long to escape
Wish upon a star and hope to God I'm not late
The planets are aligned and I'm feeling real fine
Asteroids collide underneath the skyline
It's funny when the moon coincides with the sun
A lunar or eclipse make the planets seem fun
They never tried to tell me it could ever be done
They put a man on the moon but the work is not done

Sometimes my random thoughts can be a bit unkind
And I don't want to wait until my force field breaks
Have you ever boogied on a crimson colored surf?
Come go with me and leave your problems here on Earth
It can be a really cold world when you're in trouble
Asteroids fall, do they make a splash puddle?
God created moon to be a light to the Earth
Illuminate the world and celebrate your new birth
