But that "perfect, calm happiness"? It's just a beautiful cage, my friend

I was chasing after forever, a quiet, easy love
Something sent from heaven, from the peaceful stars above
I tried to keep my rooms clean, tried to keep it all arranged
But the most beautiful and human things are messy and deranged
