Rascal Flatts has a new Greatest Hits album
And we're goin' back and playin' every song
Kinda reliving some of their 20-year career
And this next one was their first big number one song in 2002
And the video also holds a very special memory for Jay DeMarcus

Yeah, uh, These Days was incredible for us
Because it was our first number one on both charts
We actually had a number one with Prayin' for Daylight
But it was only on the Gavin charts
Uh, so technically, it was our second number one, probably (yeah)

But I met my wife on that video shoot
She's the blonde, the hot blonde ridin' around on the tarmac in the rain
And it actually was Gary's love interest, so-
We kept at the family
Yeah, know what? That song will always be one of our favorites

You know, I have to admit, I don't remember the video for These Days
But now I wanna go back and watch it
And see what the interaction was like
Between Jay DeMarcus's wife and Gary LeVox
Of course, she wasn't Jay's wife at the time
But this is These Days
