Your response?

Disgust
Defend yourself
Watch what you say
Deflect
Deny your part in this

Oh, that's right
I never thought to consider
It might be all our faults instead

Dreaming that things were different
Or maybe just that you were different

It's hard to rationalize carrying a person with you
Who you've never known at all
I have no idea who you even are
Do you even know yourself?
Do you even want to?

I don't pretend to know
What happened to you
To compel you to live
A life contrived

Seeing through it
