You may think it's a lovely place to visit
But when you see all the racism, facism, sexism, xenophobia and hate
You realize that it ain't that lovely

There was this thing called the American Dream
The idea of buildin' up to break through in the scene
But now everybody obsessed with the cream

Y'all talk about America and how it's so great
Well I can tell from experience that the dream be fake
I see a lot of hate, all y'all discriminate
All y'all pillage and rape and take that straight to the bank
The land of opportunity my ass
That went away once the economy crashed
Now we owned by the rich, they have the hunger for more
Most our money spent on war, can't get my foot in the door
Lot of y'all claim bravery but won't join the army
That type of hypocrisy is quite alarming
LGBT's braver than most of y'all out there
Y'all hate on them cause you know they got a pair
And y'all hate on immigrants, claiming they taking your jobs
When the reality is, y'all don't work hard enough
Y'all obsessed with the glamor, y'all obsessed with the fake
Y'all sold your souls to the devil, that's why I stay awake
