From the Mouths

You say you've tucked yourself
In a corner
But your mind is still
High as a blimp

And the wind is so
Unexpectable
That it often kills
The thoughts in it

But I say you've not
Been long forgotten
All the men on the streets
Still call your name

From the shadows where they wait
For each other
From the mouths where they've
Swallowed your stain

If you say that you'll never
Be stolen
Then why do you shimmer
So bright

That everyone looking
For anyone
Comes like a moth
To your light?
