Carnival Ride

Carnival ride, I couldn't care less
If you take me to nowhere fast

I'll pick up myself and suitcase
Just to get off your rollercoaster

But there is something that I would like to say
About everything that I have seen
It's so boring

You don't even say anything to us
We are not fools

Lonely, and so bored with all of this
And now I repeat myself

Won't you settle down? You're going much too fast
For anyone to notice anything
That you wanted to show us
We might blow up!

Don't you even care that we are not children?
Nothing against children, they are so cool and awesome
But there are some things that they just might not understand

Perhaps that's why you say nothing
You are the adults, and we're children
You took us to the carnival
And we're complaining
