I really didn't wanna write about this
But I felt it needed to be said
It's time to take a step into my mind
Let's go get it

Starting it off I'd like to tell you all how much I hate this
People making me feel like I'm falling into the abyss
It's not the everyday actions that do so
Only the ones that lead me on only to leave me feel so alone
It's not so often that they happen but recently they just stick around and saturate
Have me thinking of how people can truly be
Which is manipulators who only want to trick me

Going from toxic relationships to nothing
Felt like freedom but now is an inescapable prison
Floating between how bad will this hurt
To maybe it won't be that bad if I go out and flirt
Now I know that it's not worth it
I just get hit 'round the back like I wasn't anything at all
And now I get it, I guess that's fine
I'll just go back to sipping that fine wine

Now this is all just an overview
I'm trying to explain all the stuff that I've been going through
I hope that you see and hear all of this
Because now you get to feel the thoughts I've battled these past three years
