طلب إيديها إبن الربيع
فرحت خديجة بالخبر
سيدنا النبى قال للجميع
إدونى مهله للنظر

أنا بنتى بكريه وخجول
وإلهى ينور عقلها
والرأي ليها لو تقول
وأدونى فرصة أقولها

زينب توافق على الجواز
وكل شىء قسمة ونصيب
وبعد ما يجيبوا الجهاز
بتروح على بيت الحبيب

الوحى ينزل على الرسول
وفى مكة بتطير العيون
جوزها بيرفض دعوته
وزينب بتبكى من الذهول

جوزها يقول مش متهم
وأبوكى كان صادق أمين
لكن عشانك هتظلم
وأنا دينى دين المشركين

الله أعلم بالمصير
فى بدر كان جوزها اسير
تفديه بعقد أمها
وسيدنا الرسول بيوصى خير

صلوا وسموا وكبروا
برق قلبه يحرروا
يخلى سبيلها ويوعدوه
بعد الرسول ما خيره

إبن الربيع راح عندها
بيستجير ويودها
سيدنا النبى بيكرمه
أموال قريش بيردها

جالك الفرح وهتسعدى
وإبن الربيع بيهتدى
قال لا إله الا الله
وسيدنا محمد سيدي

Zaynab Bent Al Rassoul

Ibn Al-Rabia asked for my hand
Khadeeja rejoiced upon hearing the news
Our Prophet said to everyone
Give me some time to consider

I am a shy young girl
May Allah enlighten my mind
The decision is mine
Give me a chance to speak my mind

Zaynab agrees to the marriage
Everything is written in destiny
After the dowry is prepared
She will go to her beloved's house

Revelation descends upon the Prophet
In Mecca, eyes are filled with wonder
Her husband rejects his call
Zaynab weeps in disbelief

Her husband says he is not accused
Your father was a truthful and honest man
But because of you, I will be wronged
And I follow the religion of the polytheists

Allah knows best what will happen
At the Battle of Badr, her husband was taken prisoner
She offers her mother's necklace to ransom him
Our Prophet gives a generous order

Pray, glorify, and magnify Allah
The lightning of his heart will free them
They will release her and make a promise
After the Prophet makes his choice

Ibn Al-Rabia came to her
Seeking refuge and asking for her help
Our Prophet honors him
He returns the wealth of Quraysh

Joy comes to you, and you will be happy
And Ibn Al-Rabia finds guidance
He declares, "There is no god but Allah"
And our Prophet Muhammad is my master
