Intro

My biggest problem was that I thought I had said everything already
But that wasn't true
I was still keeping things inside that I didn't want to share
And it was hurting me

I ended up hitting a brick wall at one point
None of the music I was making felt meaningful
And I felt completely drained of any energy I had left
And that's why I'm here
Cause I can't afford to do something like that again

I had this album idea
It was about me adventuring to another planet
Where my ex wasn't around
Like she was completely nonexistent in this world
And I had to learn to get along without her

But as I kept going on with this concept
I eventually realized that I had nowhere to go with it
And I had no idea how to finish it
So I figured I'd just do what I wanted to do in the first place
And that is make whatever on earth I want

Mein größtes Problem war, dass ich dachte, ich hätte schon alles gesagt
Aber das stimmte nicht
Ich behielt immer noch Dinge für mich, die ich nicht teilen wollte
Und es tat mir weh

Irgendwann bin ich gegen eine Mauer gelaufen
Keine der Musik, die ich machte, fühlte sich bedeutungsvoll an
Und ich fühlte mich völlig ausgelaugt von jeder Energie, die ich noch hatte
Und deshalb bin ich hier
Denn ich kann es mir nicht leisten, so etwas noch einmal zu tun

Ich hatte diese Albumidee
Es handelte davon, wie ich auf einen anderen Planeten reise
Wo meine Ex nicht war
Als ob sie in dieser Welt überhaupt nicht existieren würde
Und ich musste lernen, ohne sie auszukommen

Aber während ich dieses Konzept weiter verfolgte
erkannte ich irgendwann, dass ich damit nirgendwo hinkam
Und ich hatte keine Ahnung, wie ich es beenden sollte
Also dachte ich, ich mache einfach das, was ich von Anfang an tun wollte
Und das ist, was auch immer ich auf Erden will, zu machen.
