This was one of the very few songs that I've written in my career of songwriting
Where, uh, you know, I didn't collaborate with anyone
I didn't really, um, for lack of better terms, I didn't feel like I-I worked for it
It was one of those tunes that kinda fell in my lap and, um, it kinda wrote itself
And uh, I think it probably took, uh, maybe 15-20 minutes to pretty much write the tune
And-and it really hasn't changed from, from that point
It was always a special song, because of, at the time I was getting ready to head out to Hollywood
And do all this stuff for American Idol, so it was, um
It was, uh, it was kind of a foreshadowing of what's to come, I guess
