Lyrics Inclusion - FlipSide Poetry

The work begins at home
With parents and their offspring
And the open minds that making safe spaces bring
Inclusion is a term meant to involve the masses
Of races, genders and socio-economic classes
Simply put
This ain't supposed to be the high school lunch room
With cool kids and outcasts
Where you die slow or live fast
Where anxiety begins and
Self esteem bends to a negative space
Til you fall in disgrace.

This is for the rising tide of acceptance
Where love reverts back to its essence
Where love is love is a rally cry
We all should take heed cuz that's when our vibration's most high
And leads to us all living our best lives
And everyone can thrive
