On the first day of spring, back in the States

This is to let everybody know the spring hadn't quite around yet
As a matter of fact over last few years, there has been very little spring
There has been even less summer
And less still has there been of the autumn season
For the last several years, one season in particular has dominated America
It is the season of frozen aspirations
We would like to take you into the description of that season
That is called winter in America
