Jego siedmionocne pióro, mimo tuszu z natchnień
Zawsze działa tak, że w końcu, na coś czasu znów zabraknie
Duch podsuwa wizję, piękną, choć straszną
A gdy uwierzysz w ten kuszący pomysł, spełnia swe niecne zamiary
Sam się kiedyś nabrał i go więzi senne miasto
A że stamtąd się nie wraca, innych wciąga w te koszmary
Jawi się współtwórcą, a w głębi cierpliwie czeka
Na swą ulubioną scenę o zachodzie siódmej nocy
Nakarmiony myślą, że nie tylko on ma szklane oczy
Skoro zachód znika z piórem. Coś wspominał o tym
Można pomyśleć, że postąpiłem głupio
Bo stworzyłem całe miasto, zamiast miłość wierszem ująć
Lecz nie chciałem pisać jej na kolanie
Więc nic nie mówiąc duchom
Przywłaszczyłem wieczne pióro dla niej
Mając pióro, szybko zagrałem rolę
No bo przecież duch też człowiek
Niech ma chwilę przyjemności swojej
Obudziłem się na moment płacząc nad rosołem
Odzyskałem wyobraźnię i wróciłem znów na moment
Trochę pożałowałem, że zapłakałem dla niego
Ale nieważne, łzy otarłem słowami "Szach mat"
Wyciągnąłem wieczne pióro i na całe niebo
Wyskrobałem napis. Letni spacer z nią, w zamian za świat
Niech się stanie

Eternal Pen

By way of introduction, I shall offer a few clarifications:
Esteemed Spirit, away from dreamy nonsense,
It tries to trap me in its pitfalls
