It was surprising to me just how straight forward
Some of the melodies I use are
While I was learning some very basic beginner guitar chords,
They were sounding like songs I've made before even as recent
As CHANGES
This line of the poem is about maintaining confidence in the knowledge
You've gained from your experiences regardless of the new environment
It's easy for us to fall into bad places trying to manage our new situations
Simply because we're in unfamiliar territory
It's okay to rely on what you've discovered thus far
Sometimes you learn that universally, you have the answers
And other times, you learn a little more about how big the world really is
And what it all means to you
