When I cry I know that you won't care
On your TV are the Country Bears
And you laugh at the Country Bears
On the screen as if it was so funny
So I leave the bears and cross the road
Across the street to the food mart store
The girls there have the TV off
The screen is blank
I can rest my soul there

Inside he must be so sad

He appears an old fool
When I'm restless I know where to go
The little food mart across the road
It's very quiet 'cause the TV's off
