Belfast Boozeleers

The week being finally over we set out to do the town
With money in our pockets for a pub crawl we were bound
We mustered at the Crown where the pints began to flow
We rated it quite highly then a-pubbing we did go

Oh we are a motley crew and we are good at what we do
Testing pints of Porter for the likes of me and you
We march from pub to pub, a merry band of volunteers
We are known far and wide as the Belfast Boozeleers

Next we went to Kellys' hoping for the best
And we weren't disappointed for the pints all passed the test
We toasted everything in sight, we ranted and we roared
'Til a giant of a bouncer kindly showed us out the door

Then we stumbled off to Madden's, a pub of high renown
Known for its perfect pints, we drank the porter down
All were in high spirits, just contented as can be
We sang our favourite football songs, quite blue and out of key

Another round was ordered, it was a Guinness blitz
We solved the problems of the world with our wisdom and our wits
The pints were flowing nicely, things were going grand
'Til someone stepped on someone's toe and a ruction soon began

We woke up in the drunk tank to end our little spree
"Disturbance of the peace" they said, is what the charge will be
We might have caused some damage but then that's just a hunch
For now we're picking rubbish off the M2 for a month
