The Ruin

My whole life seemed to be fallen apart
Nearly lost my ministry and nearly lost my marriage and family-
And worst of all my relationship with God was broken
As seen in my addiction, idolatry and selfishness
It was clear that one word could be used to describe my inner person:
Ruined
I had tried everything to change
From strict cristian disciplines, christian and secular counseling
Psychiatry and medication, even living programmes
But nothing seemed like it worked to fix me
It became clear:
My soul needed restoration!

Toute ma vie semblait s'effondrer
J'ai failli perdre mon ministère, mon mariage et ma famille -
Et pire encore, ma relation avec Dieu était brisée
Comme le montre mon addiction, mon idolâtrie et mon égoïsme
Il était clair qu'un seul mot pouvait être utilisé pour décrire mon être intérieur :
Ruiné
J'avais tout essayé pour changer
Des disciplines chrétiennes strictes, du conseil chrétien et séculier
La psychiatrie et les médicaments, même les programmes de vie
Mais rien ne semblait fonctionner pour me réparer
Il est devenu clair :
Mon âme avait besoin de restauration !
