Almost ruined my marriage a time or two.
I was confused didn't know what to do.

I had performance religion.

That made me angry at God... and that took a toll on my family!

But really I didn't know how to love.

I thought I needed respect from my wife but really I needed to man up!

We separated, hate incubated, satan infiltrated he was doing the most.

He instigated my foolish pride as I moved towards getting a divorce.

But a 3 cord strand can't break though.
Even when I backslide God came for me.

Turn my whole world around like a Mary go.
To say we are still here is a miracle

It's been 7 years with wife.
That's the grace of God in my life.
That's the favor of God in my life
don't know what I would do without Christ!

Maman aurait pu mourir le jour de ma naissance.
Elle ne pouvait plus respirer, elle aurait pu mourir.

Mais elle a vécu et m'a dédié
Au Seigneur, je vois que Dieu veillait sur nous

Têtu comme un adolescent.
Encore pire quand j'avais 18 ans.

Mais j'ai obtenu mon diplôme sans enfant et
Sans MST, alléluia Jésus.

... Je n'ai jamais dealé au quartier.
Mais j'ai vendu de l'herbe et des téléphones portables.

Les flics ne m'ont jamais surpris en train de déconner
Dieu le savait et il ne m'a pas condamné.

J'étais un menteur, un tricheur et un voleur
Un blasphémateur Seigneur, bon sang.

Conduite en état d'ivresse dans les rues de la ville.
Mais Ses anges ont veillé sur moi.

Au lieu de la punition, Il a fait preuve de miséricorde.
Alors que je péchais, Il m'a montré qu'Il m'aimait

Quand je vivais ma vie sans aucune idée

Mais là où j'étais faible, Dieu était plus fort.

J'ai failli ruiner mon mariage une fois ou deux.
J'étais perdu, je ne savais pas quoi faire.

Je pensais que parce que j'avais arrêté de faire des conneries
Tout dans ma vie serait parfait maintenant.

J'avais une religion de performance.
J'avais un malentendu...

Qui m'a mis en colère contre Dieu... et ça a eu un impact sur ma famille !

Je pensais que subvenir aux besoins était suffisant
Mais en réalité, je ne savais pas comment aimer.

Je pensais que j'avais besoin de respect de la part de ma femme, mais en réalité, j'avais besoin de me comporter comme un homme !

Nous nous sommes séparés, la haine a couvé, Satan s'est infiltré, il faisait tout son possible.

Il a attisé ma stupide fierté alors que je me dirigeais vers le divorce.

Mais un cordon triple ne se rompt pas facilement.
Même quand j'ai fait marche arrière, Dieu est venu me chercher.

Il a bouleversé mon monde entier comme une toupie.
Dire que nous sommes toujours là est un miracle.

Cela fait 7 ans que je suis avec ma femme.
C'est la grâce de Dieu dans ma vie.
C'est la faveur de Dieu dans ma vie
Je ne sais pas ce que je ferais sans le Christ !
