paroles de chanson I Hope You Suffer - Commentary - AFI
I
Hope
You
Suffer
is
one
of
the
songs
That
we
spent
a
lot
of
time
building
We
would
obsess
over
the
chorus
And
trying
to
fine-tune
it
and
get
it,
you
know,
perfectly
there
It's
an
interesting
song
It's
got
these
interesting
programming,
rhythmic
elements
I
tried
to
do
some
kind
of
symphonic
drum
programming
for
the
verses
There's
just
a
real
sort
of
orchestral
quality
to
it
My
job
was
to
try
to
find
something
that
I
could
play
That
was
hooky
and
repetitive
and
not
complicated
That
sat
in
with
all
these
other
percussive
elements
My
task
was
trying
to
craft
a
sound
that
will
fit
in
with
The
other,
like,
synth
sounds,
and
still
have
a
bass
quality
to
it
But
not
sound
just
like
an
electric
bass
I'm
happy
that
it
was
the
first
listen
that
the
fans
got
of
the
record
Because
it
is
a
really
good
look
into
what
Burials
is
